Notification Recipient Subscription Modification
Notification Recipient Subscription Modification
Notification Recipient Subscription Modification is a jXchange service designed to provide ENS publishers with the ability to modify recipient subscriptions of alerts that could be an alert to the recipient directly or an alert triggered by an event rule.
Message Flow
In jXchange, the Notification Recipient Subscription Modification service uses
a typical exchange of MType
messages to provide ENS publishers with the ability to modify recipient subscriptions of
alerts that could be an alert to the recipient directly or an alert triggered by an event
rule.

message to
the service provider.

- ConsmRecipId
- ConsumerProd
- Dlt

Notification Recipient Subscription Modification Behavior
The Notification Recipient Subscription
Modification (NotRecipSubMod
) operation behavior is as follows.
The Notification Recipient Subscription Modification root
request message (NotRecipSubModRq_MType
) requires an Institution Routing
Identification (InstRtId), Consumer Product
(ConsumerProd), Consumer Recipient Identification
(ConsmRecipId), and Activity Intention Key
(ActIntentKey) simple elements. The Consumer Recipient Account
Identification (ConsmRecipAcctId) simple element as related to the
Consumer Recipient Identification (ConsmRecipId) may be optionally
included in the request.
The modification service is used to add new alerts and/or contacts. The Alert Name (AlrtName) and Recipient Contact Identifier (RecipConId) simple elements' JHANull attribute should be used to convey to the service provider the removal of an existing alert and/or contact.
When the Delete (Dlt) simple element is set to true, it conveys to the service provider to delete the subscriptions as related to the keys included in the request. The ENS application may continue to maintain orphaned recipients and/or aliases when all subscriptions are removed.
