Notification Distribution Group Modification
Notification Distribution Group Modification is a jXchange service that allows ENS publishers to modify distribution groups that would provide an editable membership container for sending alerts to multiple recipient subscriptions or discrete contact points.

In jXchange, the Notification Distribution Group Modification service uses a typical

messages to allow ENS publishers to modify distribution
groups and provide an editable membership container for sending alerts to multiple recipient
subscriptions or discrete contact points.

Notification Distribution Group Modification Behavior
The Notification Distribution Group Modification
(NotDistGroupMod
) operation behavior is as follows.
The Notification Distribution Group Modification root request
message NotDistGroupModRq_MType
requires an Institution Routing
Identification, Distribution Group Identification, and Activity Intention key elements.
The modification service is to be utilized to add new distribution group contacts (subscriber and discrete). The JHANull attribute should be utilized to convey to the service provider the removal of an existing distribution group contact.
The Delete Element <Dlt>true</Dlt>
should convey to the service
provider to delete the distribution group as related to the keys included in the request.
The standard tenets for modification services are applicable.
