Entity ACH Batch Inquiry
Entity ACH Batch Inquiry
Entity ACH Batch Inquiry is a jXchange service designed to allow consumers to submit an ACH batch of transactions for screening with agencies' entity values.
Message Flow
In jXchange, the Entity ACH Batch Inquiry service uses a typical exchange of
MType
messages to allow
consumers to submit an ACH batch of transactions for screening with agencies' entity
values.
Primary Request
The consumer forwards the EntityACHBatchInqRq_MType
message
to the service provider. The message contains the following simple elements:
- ACHNACHAFile
- ACHFileType
- EntityConfdScore
- OFIFileName
- OFIRsDlvryType
Primary Response
The service provider returns the EntityACHBatchInqRs_MType
message
to the consumer. The message contains the following simple elements:
- EntityBatchRefId
- RsStat
Entity ACH Batch Inquiry Behavior
The Entity ACH Batch Inquiry service behavior is as follows.
The Entity ACH Batch Inquiry root request
(EntityACHBatchInqRq_MType
) requires an ACH File Type
(ACHFileType) and either an ACH NACHA File
(ACHNACHAFile) or an OFI File Name
(OFIFileName). The root request optionally includes the Entity
Confidence Score (EntityConfdScore), and an OFI Response Delivery Type
(OFIRsDlvryType).
The ACH NACHA File (ACHNACHAFile) is a formatted ACH file that must meet NACHA standards and include all ACH file types (headers, batch headers, detail records, and trailers).
The ACH File Type (ACHFileType) identifies the direction of the ACH file with the canonical values Incoming and Outgoing.
The Entity ACH Batch Inquiry root request
(EntityACHBatchInqRq_MType
) updated with a document choice statement
whereas the ACH NACHA File (ACHNACHAFile) and OFI File Name
(OFIFileName) are both optional but at least one must be included in
the request.
The Consumer Reference Identifier (ConsmRefId) is prefixed to the batch name for the user experience ([ConsmRefId]_[EntityBatchRefId]). The service consumer can dictate the provisions for the Consumer Reference Identifier (ConsmRefId). The Consumer Reference Identifier (ConsmRefId) is limited to A-Z or 0–9 with no special characters or spaces. It is not case-sensitive.
The consumer must utilize the OFI File delivery method if the ACH NACHA file exceeds 3 MB.
The consumer publishes event 50030 upon delivery of the ACH NACHA file to OFI processor.
Adhere to OFI Architectural guidelines.
The Entity ACH Batch Inquiry root response
(EntityACHBatchInqRs_MType
) includes the Entity Batch Reference Identifier
(EntityBatchRefId). The consumer caches this value for the subsequent
Entity Match Batch Status inquiry.
