Bill Pay Subscriber Search
Bill Pay Subscriber Search
Bill Pay Subscriber Search is a jXchange service designed to return all subscribers for a particular bill pay product.
Message Flow
In jXchange, the Bill Pay Subscriber
Search service uses a typical exchange of MType messages to search for
information regarding subscribers for a particular bill pay
product.
Primary Request
The third-party consumer forwards the BilPaySubSrchRq_MType message to
the service provider. The message contains the following elements:
- BilPayProd
Custom_CType- EmailAddr
- PayFromAcctId
PersonName_CType- PhoneNum
- PostalCode
- SrchAddr
- SrchCity
SrchMsgRqHdr_CType- SubId
- SubStat
- SubType
- TaxID
Primary Response
The service provider returns the BilPaySubSrchRs_MType message to
the third-party consumer. The message contains the following elements:
- BilPayProd
BilPaySubSrchArray_ATypeCustom_CType- EmailAddr
- PayFromAcctId
PersonName_CType- PhoneNum
- PostalCode
- SrchAddr
- SrchCity
SrchMsgRsHdr_CType- SubId
- SubStat
- SubType
- TaxID
Bill Pay Subscriber Search Behavior
The response returns all subscribers for a particular bill pay product.
The request provides the following filters:
- Name of the subscriber:
PersonName - Phone number: PhoneNum
- Address: SrchAddr
- City: SrchCity
- Subscriber type: SubType - The default is Indv (individual)
- Subscriber status: SubStat - The default is Act (active)
When there is more than one filter in the request, the selection is based off ~and~ rather than ~or~.
The EFT Card Number (EFTCardNum) has a Search Type attribute that conveys to the service provider the type of search expression for the search message filter. This information can be sent with the last four positions of the card number with the canonical value of EndsWith. Using this element allows for future functionality with the additional canonical values of Exact, StartsWith, Contains, and ContainsAll.
The standard search message header tenets are applicable.
The elements on the request are echoed back on the response, regardless of if those same elements exist in the repeating complex.
